Our American Pale Ale with a ton of Citra, Columbus and Cascade hops. Deep amber in color with an extremely well rounded hop and malt character. This beer gives hop heads what they are looking for without wrecking your palate; yet it is sufficiently balanced which is pleasing to many hop-timid beer drinkers. The finish is slightly dry and refreshing to the last drop. This beer will not disappoint!

(Thanks, Gene! "Travlr") Can. A- Gummy, citrus, pine. A- Orange amber color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Pine, bitter, tangerines, pepper. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Amber Ale? No way, this is definitely a Pale Ale. Quite citrusy on the nose but a lot of pepper and malt on the palate. Malty on the end and a bit dry but otherwise a pretty standard APA.

Nice crisp amber coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of bright grapefruit, piney and resinous hops - a lot of them and a touch of malt. Medium-bodied; Strong herbaceous hop flavour at first with some perceived metallic and earthy notes along with a lot of caramel and sweet notes at the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop bitterness with grapefruit and piney notes clearly winning out. Overall, a very potent hop presence with a good malt backbone and some nice complex flavours - much more hops than I was expecting and definitely one of the best ’ambers’ I’ve had in a while. I feel like this is an APA, but if it stays in this category - find one, because it is a great beer for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 19-March-2014 - Thanks JP!

Total Wine, Fairfax six pack of cans: Pours amber with off-white head. Aroma is piny hops, citrus hops, and a wee bit of malt. Taste is quite bitter for an amber. Hops make this a rather dry sipper. Plenty of hop aftertaste. Good, but not as sessionable as I hoped that it would be, but then again, it is a pretty fierce looking can.

Location: Draft at Capital Ale, 11/17/12

Aroma: The nose citrus fruit, some pine, caramel, malts, and bread
Appearance: This one pours a clear orange color, with a white head, and some sticky lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, with caramel and grains, and light-mid hoppy, with fruit and pine notes
Palate: This one has a medium body, with a clean feel, and a nice, dry finish on the mouth
Overall Impression:  Nice stuff, that I thought worked rather well. Drinks nicely. This was a nice first beer to try from Wild Wolf, and quite sessionable.

Had this at the NOVA Fall Brewfest. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small white head. Aroma was citrus hops, with a nice mellow malty character to it. Flavor was sweet malts, with plenty of hop character. Very refreshing.
