An American Cream Ale true to style. Extra pale malt gives a slight sweetness on the palate which is complemented by the addition of wheat for the 'cream' element. Very low bitterness with increased carbonation makes this hybrid style incredibly easy drinking!

Keg draught at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light gold with a touch of haze and a massive tight white head. Lemony and floral aroma with touches of vanilla. Chalky wheat taste, bright lime zest on the taste sweet with some rounded agave mid-sip and a slightly bitter finish. A mixed bag but decent. And it's a treat to have this rare style in the UK.

Can. Dram Shop Sheffield. Nearly clear straw colour. Thin and sticky lasting white foam. Nose has lemon pith. Clean dry cracker malts. Whiff of the wheat. Very light orangey notes. Taste is dry and light bitter with a touch of sweetness on the lips. Light and crisp. Dry and light bitter finish. Not a style I’m particularly familiar with, but I think this is a good example. Anyway it’s the best Buxton I’ve had in a while. Smashed it in minutes.
