Brut IPA

Kooperace Vik & Pivečka. Velmi světlá a jiskrná IPA se šampaňským charakterem a mimořádně suchým projevem. Chmely Galaxy, Citra, Taiheke a Mosaic přinášejí tóny tropického ovoce, citrusů a bílých hroznů s jemným nádechem broskve a limetky. Chuť je lehká, čistá a šumivá, s jemnou hořkostí a výrazně suchým, elegantním dozníváním.

Can. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Champagne like grapey sweetness. Never understood how this is achieved but, I'm guessing champagne yeast. Soft pine. A little candy fruits and light grapey citrus. Light finish. Love the way Brut IPA keeps rearing its head after the normal brewer craze of a few years ago. For me, a solid style, and should be on brewers regular cycle. I mean it ain't like brewers are innovating new styles these days is it? All that said, this Brut IPA a little on the sweet side. Needs something to make it less mass-market prosecco.

Can at Brūstok 2026 with the Prague tasting crew. Bit hazy golden-yellow body, off-white head. Honeyish, lemony, bit herbal aroma. Lean, soft taste, honeyish, lemony, herbal, kinda sweetish for the style but quite drinkable.

Can at Brustok 2026. Thin bod, a bit watery feeling. Barely med bitter, med-light candyish sweet. Hops do not pop, no juiciness. Tired feeling general citrusy and exotic complex. Average. 3 new beers and all fail similarly.
