Collab with the wonderful Beak
This Late Pick DDH Hazy IPA highlights Motueka harvested in the very final days of the season. Loaded with Motueka from Eggers Hops (Lot EH25-023D-MOT) and amplified with a dose of late pick Motueka hop kief this beer captures the lush, tropical intensity that defines the late harvest character.
Expect a richer, tropical Motueka with fleshy mango, key lime pie and clear gummy bears.

Can shared thanks to Alexander. Very hazy golden with white head. Mango, creamy oats, pineapple, honey, green onion, grassy, candied lemon. Over medium sweet, just medium bitter. Thick creamy body. Lovely, much better than early pick.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. The late pick Motueka is very slightly rounder than the early pick. A tad more lime and a tad less bright lemon. Light finish. A very interesting experiment, not quite the revelatory hop terrior affair that Mikkeller offered a few years back but very interesting. For me, the early pick wins, as always with hops, the fresher, the better.

440ml can. Murky yellow with a white head. Aroma of lemon and lime, tropical fruits, mild peppery spice. Taste of lemon and lime, grapefruit zest, tropical fruits, mild spice. Medium bodied, soft.
Bit more of a refined flavour profile, or slightly more depth I should say, compared to Early Pick.

Can from The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Mango, mandarin, peach, grapefruit & passionfruit aromas. Peach, sweet citrus & tropical fruit flavours. Aftertaste awash with sweet juicy fruits with just a tad of bitterness. Exceedingly flavoursome.
