Bottle shared at the 9th Richmond Rare & Unusual Epic Tasting, Richmond, VA, 11/30/14. Pours a hazy lemon with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral notes, bright citrus, toffee, dandelion, spice. The taste is bitter hops, floral notes, candied citrus, bready malt, spice. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering spice.

14oz pour at the brewery comes a murky gold with lots of fluffy, white head. Nose is very grassy, lemony, zesty, soap, pithy too. Flavor follows right along, pithy, soapy, perfume, lemon, mild pine, lightly vegetal. The hop flavor shines because the base is so clean. Crisp, bitter finish. This is probably better BECAUSE it’s a lager and the malt base doesn’t take away. A little old school in the hop profile. Call me crazy, but I liked it.

Draft at the source. Clear bright golden color. Beautiful aroma of fruity, lemony pine. Taste is citrus, hay, straw.

Nice fruity smell. Citrus and some floral essence. Light to medium bitter finish. Copper pour with ok head and lacing. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the source. Poured a golden color with an off white head. Aroma was funky, grass, way too much grass and a bitter wild green onion note. Flavor was grassy, green onion. Huge bummer.
