Bottle thanks to travlr, shared at Anchorage Jan ’15 Tasting: Poured a burgundy color with tan creamy head. Aroma was fruity with raisins and malts showing up as well. Taste was yeasty, fruit, aloe, and malt backbone. Spicy dry finish.

4oz pour at the brewery pours a clear caramel amber with some cloudy white head. Nose has a good blend of spice, candy sugar, yeast, dates, raisins, some clove. Flavor is sweet and mild spice, candy, caramel, raisin. Sweet finish. Solid.

Reddish brown pour with some head and lacing. Some light resin, and light woodiness. Watery consistency. Finish is really absent of anything, just entirely smooth. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the brewery. Dark, slightly hazy brown color with an off-white head. This one was not too strong on the dubbel notes, and contains some classic Bluejacket beer sweetness. Touch of cherry, rasin and brown sugar round this one out. Pretty easy to drink.
