Nitro but didn't pour as expected.
Large creamy off white head on an unclear copper coloured body.
Malt, fruity & spiced aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a cloying back.
Malt, toffee, caramel & fruity hop tastes with a tangy finish.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear rich amber - copper with a sturdy and long lasting white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, marmalade sandwiches, earthy, woody, nutty, grass and grain. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet character, brown bread, toasty grains, nuttiness, orange peel, grassy, leafy and woodsy with a touch of spice through the dryish finish. Average body, moderate carbonation and fluffy, velvety mouth feel. Opens up as it warms. I enjoyed this.

Can from Drinkmonger. Mostly chest deep golden body with a beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and caramel. Flavour of lightly roasted malt and peach. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Simple, well balanced and very easy drinking.

Nitro pour keg ESB (?) at Brewis. Possibly one of the most nondescript beers ever. No aroma. No flavour. No body. Pointless.

Keg at Lost in Leith. Pours hazy amber to brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of brown bread, toffee and orange. Taste is more of the same. Creamy texture, roasty finish. Would've liked it a bit cleaner and more bitter.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - deep amber to brown and just about translucent. In fact reddish in the sunshine. Big foamy nitro head.
Nose - brown bread, burnt toffee.
Taste - orange and toffee, still brown bread
Palate - medium bodied, creamy and roasty.
Overall - decent example of the style.
