330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, spicy, pale malty and grassy hoppy aroma. Taste is bitter, grassy, minimally soapy hoppy, strawy, pale malty basis, a mineral touch.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Watery, simple, monotonous - not overly appealing.

Bottles from Gabriel - Cheers. Spotty beige head on a still dull pale amber coloured body. Wet cardboard, grain & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean. Grain, biscuit & malt tastes with a bitter. Poor.

Bottle. Clear gold with a regular sized white head. Aroma and taste of grains, butter, straw, malts and minerals. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Bland. I do understand why every brewery in Germany feels the need to have a Helles in their portfolio right now but at least a little bit of effort would be much appreciated.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'trinkgut' (Düsseldorf), best before October 2018. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and a touch of straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, grassy-spicy taste of lots of grains and straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite grassy-spicy and slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, quite hoppy for a Helles.

Clear golden. Aroma is incredibly dusty and farty, lots of cardboard, steamed vegetables. Taste is malty sweet body with slight sour grassyness. Not so bad actually. Finish of peas. Still nope.
