Excursion West Coast Style IPA is dominated by the in-your-face fresh hop flavors of bright pine and fresh cut cedar with some orange and lemon peel undertones. Characteristic of the style, the beer finishes moderately bitter with a little sweetness for balance. Its hop build includes kettle additions of Chinook, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Citra hops followed by dry hopping with the latter three in the tank. It pours a light golden hue from Pilsen and Munich Malt build.

Bought locally, best by August 11th 2026.

Pours a lightly hazy gold with over a finger of foam, good retention and lacing.

The smell is piney hops, citrus, some malt that is on the sweet side.

Taste is pine, grapefruit citrus to a lesser degree, grain and some caramel malt, the latter of which I could have done without.

Medium bodied lively carbonation, this is good but not something I would seek out.

Two 355ml cans on 21st March 2026, cheers Joe. Clean ans clear golden pour, white crust on top. Piney front to the aroma with a citrus peel twist or two. taste similar with a good twiggy pine bitterness on a bed of citrus flavours.
