Our rambunctious Bourbon Barrel Hooligan was originally crafted in the classic Scottish “Wee Heavy” tradition – Malty! Six different grains were carefully blended to yield deep, rich coffee and toffee flavors; and we relied on a moderately edgy alcohol content to balance the beer. But this Hooligan deserved special treatment, so we sentenced him to two years confinement in the whiskey barrel! He’s a very enjoyable fellow now.
