Todd and Matt from Good Word make some fantastic lager from their brewery in Duluth, Georgia, so when they swung by to collab whilst in the UK, we decided to brew together our very first Tmavý Ležák (Czech Dark Lager).

Great stuff overall. Richly toasted brown bread, chocolate, a little maple in the background, accents of caramel and toffee, some raisins and dates. Biscuity. Impressive depth to this one.

Can @ Kvickly, Middelfart. Pours Dark Brown with a small creamy head. Very soft and Chewy. Dark fruit, Toasted malty with a touch of mocha. Imagine how this would taste from Cask at Track 🙈.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, light roast malt. Taste of chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, molasses, mild spicy notes, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied.
