Poured from 750mL bottle (pkg 19.08.22). Hazy golden yellow with very minimal white head. Underlying acidity, raw apple core, light barnyard funk, decent.

750mL bottle, pours a bright golden with almost no head. Nose is full of moderate barnyard funk, tart apples, apple core, and some light acidity. Flavour is very tart, with tons of apple core, medium barnyard funk, some musty apple skins, and somewhat aggressive acidity. It's certainly on the tart side, but the barnyard funk character and apple core depth is very nice. Very good.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Cloudy, dark, greasy gold. Bitter, grassy, dark, pleasantly acidic nose. Macerated, keeved sort of subtle sweetness. Juicy acidity. Lightly tart & puckered. Low vinegar. Lingering mild spice. Thick, low carbonation, finishes dry. Sulfites. Over the border Sidra. Of course it's better here.

75cl bottle from the Sunday market in Amboise, Loire. Shook bottle before opening, as advised, and did seem to bring a bit of life to it. Hazy gold appearance, very short lasting bubbles atop. Sour apples welcome you in the aroma. Taste is typically old-style Basque with a super tangy, complex, sour character with distinct vinegary notes. Quite a cocky fellow with sharp apple fruits, green apple and a certain under-ripe tart edge. Great for the style.
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. Big sweet apples, dry dusty earth. Light funk. Quite good.
