Pours hazy brown with zero head.Nose shows unripe blackberries, perfumous notes, lemon and cinnamon.Acidic flavours, very tart. Some cinnamon and vegemite, lemon juice and baked apple sweetness. Extremely tart, not in a good way.Very low carbonation.

Another good one from these guys. Pours cloudy murky brown without any head or lacing. Tastes like fizzy orange zest. Medium sour finish. Pretty good. Bottle thanks to Iphonephan at Epic Sour Tasting.

Bottle shared at DC Annual Epic Sour Tasting, thanks Iphonephan! Hazy light brown with no head. Aromas of tart fruit, vinegar, nuts. Tasting notes of tart fruit, vinegar, lemon. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Better than #3.

From a 33 cl bottle bought in Oz and shared at the DC Epic Sour Beer Tasting. Pours a murky brown with an almost non existent off white head. Flavors of tart caramel apple with some dark cherry notes. Soft mouthfeel with low carbonation. An adventuresome brew for sure. Kudos to the brewer for moving well beyond the traditional beer styles that seem to dominate the Australian beer scene.

Bottle. Poured a muddy brown color, small wispy head. Aroma is slightly tart notes, some fruit, a touch of malt. Flavor is light malts, some fruit character. Not awful.

Bottle, 11C. Murky brown. Some bubbles, no head. Confronting aroma of sour plums, lemons, boot polish, singed grain, mint, spices, mud. Interesting, but there’s an offensive muddy note in there that I couldn’t get past. Slightly slippery. Taste is sour but not that tart, with plums and dried fruit softening things. Woody spices are a bit tingly at the end. Sediment looks like iced coffee and I’m not brave enough to taste it. Bold stuff, not quite right.
