Hazy orange brown colour and small white head and lace. Dish cleanser, rye spicey aroma. Medium-bodied. Bitter, spiceyness, malts, some tropical fruits. A bit rough. ZincFest26.

ZincFest2026. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, some mild spicy tones with a bit rye and some herbal tones. Flavour is rye, some toasted and mild biscuity and floral tones with some slight spiciness lurking too.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 31A: rye / 18B). Can 44 cl - Batch L1353 0302 (BB: 11.26) AROMA: medium-high hop aroma (grapefruit, pine, slight lime and lupulin). medium-low to low soft malt background. APPEARANCE: pale orange to yellow color and hazy. medium-large white head with good retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor (grapefruit, pine). medium soft malt background, almost neutral, with slight sweetness. medium to medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry and bitter finish that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with a velvety texture. medium to medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: although it wasnt detected any rye characteristics, the overall presentation and texture gives it more richness that a regular pale ale.
