Deep brown color. Coffee ground flavor is mellowed by cinnamon and dessert sweetness.

Bottle shared by badnewsbeers, 2014. Deep opaque brown-black body, thin brown head. Nose of coconut, caramel, and toffee. Medium-bodied, sharp, with graham crackers, coconut, and huge notes of cinnamon.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is coffee, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and pretty good smal-bubble lacing. Taste is cinnamon and coffee. Too much coffee.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, 2015 vintage bottling. Pours pitch black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy dark tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, light char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, light char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate roast/char and spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet and spice balance, with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from roast/spice bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an incredible coffee/spiced imperial stout! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice flavors; very smooth and easy to sip on for the big ABV. Really great balance between cinnamon roll and coffee stout flavors. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle 2015 vintage received in a trade with Joshua C. Black color without head. Aroma is huge cinnamon, mild chocolate, weak roast.
Flavor wants to be a Cinnamon roll and well... It really is. Over the top cinnamon with chocolate base and very mild roast. Mouthfeel is smooth but the body is lacking a bit. I wish it was a tad denser in the mouth. Good but maybe you shouldn’t trade a whole lot for this. Expectation for me may have been a little high.

Bomber from AFH, enjoyed a few ways enjoyed at fridge temp
A - Pours a black with some slight red hues but overall pours fairly flat.
S - Smells absolutely fantastic. Cinnamon is present and some great vanilla with a burst of coffee.
T - taste, well it’s loaded with cinnamon from start to a very long finish. it’s borderline spicy. There’s coffee, there’s chocolate and a chalky fudge sort of espresso bean raw-ness.
M - Dense mouthfeel, fleeting sweetness, good roast at the finish.
O - I like this a lot but if they had added about half of the cinnamon, I’d love it.

Coffee and vanilla nose. Black, thin tan head. Coffee, tobacco, dry but hints of sugar glaze. Medium body, easy carbonation. Not as in your face as the regular WnB, but the coffee notes are still proudly on display.
