Like a favorite breakfast treat and a great cup of coffee merged into one, Cinnamon Roll'd Wake-n-Bake will leave you wondering if it's beer or brinner! It starts with a delicious coffee aroma, then a touch of Cinnamon gives way to flavors of sugary-sweet icing as a buttery nuttiness fills out the last drop of this breakfast in a glass

I need to invent an instant wax remover, I’d be rich. This is easier to drink o draft just so you don’t have to deal with the wax. Almost totally black color, huge maroon brown head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of cinnamon dust and baking brownies. Taste is rich spiced brown bread, gingerbread. Delicious.

Bottle - thanks to EricTeusink! First lets start with the wax. I get what they are going for, but really?? Was that pain festival necessary? As for the beer itself, pours opaque black with a small dark brown head that dissipates quickly with decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasty, dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet, medium bitter, strong cinnamon and vanilla notes, dark chocolate. Medium full body, creamy mouthfeel. OK, I can see why this could be taken as a bit gimmicky, and why the "I hate Dark Lord" crowd would rain shit on this as well, but I thoroughly enjoyed this beer, from first sip to last.

Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a very dark brown with a brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coffee with dark grains, roasted malt and a hint of cinnamon underlying. Flavor has a real cinnamon roll note with sweet dark grains and a hint of coffee underlying.

Bottle @ RBWG Fart Share. Pours a black appearance with a dark head. Tons of roasted coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon in the nose. Fairly boozy. Chocolate and cinnamon flavor. Vanilla. Pretty fun.

8oz pour at PPD. Pours an oily black with some thin tan head. Nose is earthy, some tobacco, some spice, lots of sweetness, molssses, malt, some coffee. Flavor has a lot of everything, malt, molasses, coffee, cinnamon, raisin, a hint of windex. Full, sticky finish.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso. Poured a dark, rich black color with a tan head. Aroma was light coffee, roasted malts, with a generous helping of sprinkled cinnamon on top. Flavor was rich and roasted, with a mouthful of coffee, chocolate. Those dominate, but the cinnamon is most certainly present in this. Sweet, icing notes. I tried to eat this at the tail end of my meal and that was a no-go. Strictly desert.

Draft at Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, sweet roasted malts, mild hops and dark fruit. The taste is cocoa, cinnamon, coffee, roast, dark fruits, vanilla. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Damn good beer.
