From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity and citrusy.smooth fruity and cirusy. Lingerin sweet and fruity. Dry hoppy finish.

An amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth pinhey hops with light Belgian yeasts, fruity esters, quite nice. In mouth, smooth pinhey hops with pink grapefruits, light funk, very well done. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Head reduced to rim in seconds, over clear orange beer. Citrussy hops, but all the time mixed with something salty, as seafood, fresh shrimps, or lightly pickled green berries. Weird. Bitter orange, kumquat, citruspeel, and an acetic streak, if very hidden. The aroma + taste that started bothering me in the nose, gradually opens up in the mouth - what is it? Physalis? Doerian? Got it: asafoetida (as in poppadums)! Rather light bodied - and as to 11.5% ABV - go away! Disappointing. Something’s amiss, I fear. Thanks for carrying, MikeK!

Mildly hazy copper/orange with a large, white, rocky head. Aroma of powerful citrus hops, sugary malts, and mostly grapefruit. Flavor has a strong residual sweetness, grapefruit, citrus hops, thick caramel malt. A very sweet beer but thankfully a healthy dose of citrus to help balance this one out. Full bodied. One of the sweeter DIPAs I’ve had but a very good one.

Location: 750 ml corked and caged bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 12/4/10, as Fegley's Brewworks Hop'solutely
Aroma: The nose is somewhat suptle, some resin, floral notes, malts, and a hint of tropical fruit
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a thick (2 + fingers) and foamy beige head
Flavor: The taste is fairly balanced, leaning bitter, light citrus sweetness, and a dry bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, the alcohol is pretty well-hidden, and the texture is a touch oily
Overall Impression: This wasn't the best Double IPA (or Triple as they claim on the bottle) that I have ever tried, but it was an enjoyable brew. It seems to improve with a touch of warmth to it in my opinion. Anyway, not that exciting in my opinion, but not a bad beer either. I just expect a little better in this style.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured a clear amber with a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a pine hop note that grew with a slight grain backing. Flavor was pine the grew to become quite intense and almost leave a burn on the tongue. The pine really over powered everything else in the beer.

bottle pours hazy orange with a medium white head, spotty lacing. Aroma is leafy and pine resin hop aromas, very strong with some toasted malt. Flavor is rich caramel and toasted malts, slightly bready with a solid citrus hop finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle labeled as Allentown Brew Works. Pours cloudy apricot with white head. Nose of hops, maple, caramel malts and citrus. Taste is very boozy, hop bomb with unbalanced caramel malt and maple pine.

750 c&c from Oak Tree. Cork so tight it tore. Needed to use cork screw on the stub. Pours copper amber with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Principal aroma is grapefruit rind, but some roast caramel hints are there. Full bodied with nearly creamy carbonation. Flavor is floral and grapefruit rind accompanied by some roast malt. This hop is strong. It clings and burns. Not even getting any heat. Then the malt sweet sort of shows up. And is washed out by the grapefruit. Damned fine ale.

Bottled@Akkurat, Stockholm. Amber colour, not that much head. Aroma is fruits, grass, some mild zesty notes as well as grass and wood. Also quite sweet malty notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruity and floral hops along with mild alcohol and some wooden and spicy notes. Alcohol, fruits and mild spicyness in the finish and aftertaste.
