Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 26/07/2026.
Murky orange topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is juicy tropicana, grass, mandarin, papaya, guava.
Taste comprises ripe melon, passionfruit, subtle hop spice, grass, pine resin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Solid punchy DIPA.

Can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, thin and somewhat ephemeral pale cream colour head. Light and fairly smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Hops bring light smooth pine. Hops bring soft pine, a very mild hop spice nibble and reasonable citrus with a slightly tangy stone fruits element. Mild bitterness in the light crisp and semi dry finish. I recall Soma being better than the last several beers I have had from them. Plus, I cannot keep up with their prolific output. I don't think these perceptions of mine are unconnected. Less is more chaps, less is more.

Up the Palace ❤️ 🔴🔵🦅 Great come back v Newcastle! 2-1 - Solid Soma action as usual here with a punchy cross section of tropical and citrus fruit, lots of mango and tangerine, papaya, lychee, hop spice, dense sweet malty backbone with a robust hoppy close. Lovely.
