Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds mellow biscuity malts and hints of butter. Light-medium sweet flavor with notes of simple white sugar, dough, white bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish with more buttery biscuits and white bread. Ho hum. Seems there’s a bit of a diacetyl issue in this one.

Draft at the source. Clear yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of wheaty crackers. taste is fresh hay. OK.

2014 RBWG At the brewery’s tasting room. Pale yellow body with a white head. The aroma is light hops and malts. the flavor is lightly bitter but this needs more of everything for my tastes. The history will fall where it may.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #83. Draft at the brewery. Pours a very pale yellow color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pale buttery malts, mild herbal hops. The taste is bitter hops, pale buttery malts. Medium bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy bread and biscuit with a hint of grass. Flavor has a bit more grassy hops but is mainly biscuit and earthy grain.

Draft - Soapy, sweet malts and some orange. Pale gold with a thin white head. A little soap, grass, some light citrus and a pale malt sweetness. Not a fan.
