Citrusy with a little resin. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Light sour tartness in finish. Well balanced and an awesome beer overall. Tap at Of Love and Regret.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color, clear, with generous but not persistent head. Nice aroma, it has some caramel, and it’s lightly flowery. Overly carbonated; earthy caramel flavor, rather dry; it has vegetable elements, some yeast, and a boozy impression in the final.
Not too bad, not pleasant either.

750mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse yeast, earthy notes, and some grainy notes. Flavour brings out earthy notes, farmhouse yeast, and light grains. Very well-balanced, with lots of complex farmhouse yeast. Well-designed, with a nice yeast profile. Great stuff.

Draft at Of Love & Regret. Cloudy amber color, off white head. Aroma of lightly burnt toast. Taste is spiced and toasty caramel. Earlier Rating: 8/26/2014 Total Score: 3.6Tap at Stillwater Anniversary at Max’s, congrats to both! Very dark cloudy amber color, bright tan head. Aroma of funky pear and peach. Taste is tart summer fruit.

Sampled at the Stillwater Anniversary event upstairs at Max’s during Belgian Beer Fest. Pours a clear, ruddy gold with a ring of white head. Nice herbal nose, a little soap, some cracker, some dried citrus. Very pleasant. Flavor is similar, lightly sweet, light candy, lightly herbal, light soap, some orange, a little tangerine. Clean finish. Very drinkable. Nice.

10oz pour at Of Love and Regret. Hazy caramel amber with thin white head. Nose is soapy, herbal, malt, light raisin, distinct dried cherry. Flavor is the same, a lot of Stillwater beers have the same yeasty character, like a little brie rind, malt, dried cherry, some soggy bread. Clean finish.
