Intensely hoppy with grass, pine, lemony citrus, and earthy tones. Flavorful with earthy, grass, sweet candied malt, rustic notes. Medium bodied. Enjoyable and well made beer. Full on hop flavor assault with middling bitterness.

Bottle. A- Caramel, citrus, piney, floral, bitter. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Bitter, piney, citrus, caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, O- Not as bitter as I expected. Decently complex as I first tasted lots of pine, herbs, citrus, and bitterness to start out but as it warmed I got more of a caramel taste. Pretty solid IPA, especially considering it’s far from my favorite style.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Citrus hop nose. Flavors of pine resin, grapefruit and a caramel malt backbone. Medium bodied. Slightly sweet finish.

12 oz. bottle, sent from ekoerper (thanks a lot, Ed), pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Highly aromatic on the nose with tropical fruits, citrus and resinous hops, a bit of Belgian yeast and some caramel malt backing. Flavour is every bit as lovely, with juicy tropical fruits (grapefruit, mango especially), citrus fruits, loads of citrus and resinous hops, and a perfect amount of caramel malt for support. Really wonderful flavours, all working in harmony. Drinks so easily - could drink litres of this stuff. A splendid IIPA that I think deserves higher ratings (even at 96).

Bottle from a trade with BlackIPA. My first Iowa tick! I finally get to wear my beer drinking jorts that I’ve been saving for this occasion. Pours hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of pine and citrus with some caramel. Tangerine and pine flavors with some malt sweetness and hefty dose of bitterness. Medium body with moderate carbonation and chewy mouthfeel. A really nice and bitter DIPA. Thanks Shawn.

Bottle. Hazy, deep amber body. Fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Strong aroma of resin. Notes of raw hops, toasted grain, pine, chemical. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body, chewy texture, soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness along with hot alcohol and pepper. Little finesse in this beer. It’s hard to get
