An alien-like outsider, always flirting with oddity and exploring anxiety and paranoia. A style chameleon, a wonderful labyrinth and truly a transcendent genius. It’s impossible not to idolize out of proportion. This is a stout. It may not be a hero but it’s attractive, clever and hungry for stardom.

Can, 0.473l. Clear almost black color with thick frothy light brown head and nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, chocolate and dark fruit. Taste starts with moderate sweet licorice, roasted malt and coffee, following is surprisingly mellow, most likely because of oatmeal, then feels grassy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Excellent aroma felt directly from the can, taste starts promising, but soon becomes a bit blander than expected...

Can from Discount. Pours a pitch black with a small head that dissipates quickly. Deep, cacao nib nose with roasted malt. Slightly creamy on the palate, with more roasty malt. Some faint coffee and more cacao. Dry finish. Solid and blue-collar-like.

Nem túl tartós, közepes hab, fekete szín. Illata csokis, pörkölt malátás, aszalt gyümölcsös. Íze csokis, pörkölt malátás, szilvás-aszalt szilvás, enyhén fűszeres. Közepesen testes, közepesen kesernyés és közepesen szénsavas. Nagyon finom, jól eltalált stout.

Can (Pub Winston). Opaque black color, good brown head, lace. Aroma is metallic with roastyness. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty, a bit milky but also quite metallic flavor. Mmm... some chocolate. Odd metal in the nose and flavor. Could be nice oatmeal stout otherwise.
