16 oz can. No date code. Aroma and flavor are that of a traditional Brown ale Soft nuttiness, hints of chocolate, with some mild balancing hops. Medium body with correct texture.

12 ounce can from Lower Merion Beverage in Ardmore, PA. Translucent mahogany brown color. Puffy beige head. Spotty lacing. Mild toasted malt aroma hints at cocoa. Flavor has notes of cocoa, toasted nuts and toffee. Soft mouthfeel. Brief toasty finish.

Statio, Pittsburgh tap: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is nutty malts and the like. Tasye is lightly sweet. Low hops. Plenty of malt. Average brown ale.

Draft - Sweet, dark and nutty malts. Clear brown a decent white head. Lots of sweet caramel and toffee malts with a light nutty note. Solid.
