Tropical Freeze is a Modern West Coast IPA, which uses a hybrid fermentation like that of a California Common. The lager yeast makes this beer mega clean, really allowing the hops to shine. We used a blend of Mosaic (Dynaboost, T90 & Cryo), Krush Cryo & Superdelic both hotside and in the double dry hop, to bring forth mega dank tropical hop flavors. We get blueberry, thai basil, sweet cirus, mango and a touch of sticky icky dank resins!

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear golden, mid sized head. Generous aroma of grapefruit and blavckberries. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit and lychee. Long bitter finish.

Can @ Kvickly Middelfart. Pours cloudy yellow with a White head. Tropical and green hemp weeded scents. Quite lovely. Dry and crunchy bitter finish. Dope. 4.3

Thanks fonefan! Honeyish golden colour with s small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nectary and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is sweet malts, some herbal and evident alcohol with the sweet malty tones.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Sunday 17th May 2026 after a couple of hours working in the garden, chatting to dad via WhatsApp, we have a Thomasina Miers slow cooked Chilli this evening for tea. Pours gold in colour mostly clear, there may be a very slight haze, white head. Citrus and tropical notes with the latter just about winning out. In the mouth it's a similar story, fruity with a leaning towards tropical, there is a steady but slightly underwhelming bitterness. It's absolutely fine, indeed quite nice but ultimately falls a little short of my expectations. Score: 7.1

Crispy, piney and resinous with hints of dankness, exotic tropical fruits, grassy herbal hops, citrus and grapefruit, some bitterness and floral notes. Pretty fresh and tasty modern west coast IPA.
