Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color. Sour aroma, sourdough. A lot of carbonation, light mouthfeel, the flavor is very bready, and some sourdough too, moderately salty.
Not bad, but not elegant.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy murky golden orange with a small white head. Nose is tart, salty, and funky, with citrus skins and tart citrus fruits. Flavour is very complex, with a wonderful mix of tart citrus, salt, horse blanket, and wheat. Very dynamics flavours with a tingly mouthfeel. The flavours are very complementary, with the perfect amount of salt. Despite the ratings so far, I think this is excellent. Great gose.

Keg at Bluejacket, 8/19/14. Pours a hazy pale orange with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of citrus, brine, herbal notes, green banana. Taste is tart peach, stone fruit, mild brine. Medium bodied.

Cloudy chalky yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of earthy lemondrops. Taste is softly sour earthy citrus, rising bread dough. Nice.

4oz sample at the brewery pours a murky pale gold with a ring of white head. Nose has lots of yogurt and citrus peel, some perfume but also a little but of moth balls. Flavor is better, mildly sweet, mildly tart, still a little industrial, lactic acid. Tart finish. Everyone else liked this, just seemed off to me.

4 oz draft pour at Bluejacket during Travlr’s 10k celebration. Hazy lemon yellow with off-white head. Aromas of lemon, tart fruit, salt. Tastes of salt, tart fruit, tropical fruit, lemony citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Low carbonation.

On draft at Bluejacket during Travlr’s 10,000th beer rating celebration. Pours a hazy yellow with an off white head. Lemon aroma. Salty citrus flavors. Refreshing finish.

Nice salty citrus gose. Comes together very well. Pours cloudy yellow without much head or lacing. Some sediment. Light tart finish. I like this. Tap at brewpub thanks to gendv138.

4oz pour at the source. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is light, tart lemon water, some light pale grain notes. tart and funky. A touch of salt in there makes this one pretty enjoyable. Like the tartness of it.
