A traditional oatmeal stout with an intense roast barley flavors and mildly hopped using Willamette and Nugget hops. The robust flavour is balanced with a smooth creamy finish. It is named for the razor’s edge ridge that comes off the south flank of Mount Garibaldi’s Atwell Peak

1L swingtop from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Pours black with a foamy dark tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and perhaps treacle. Med body; foamy carb. It’ got gritty burnt malt, sweetish chocolate and decent coffee. Not getting treacle. Finishes dry. Drinks pretty well. Reminds me of what a regular stout can taste like.

Bottle, pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, oats and some coffee notes. Flavour of smooth roasted malt and oats - pretty one-dimensional, but still well-made.

Dark brown colour. Fudgey, chocolatey aroma. Sweetish flavour with more fudge and chocolate. Fairly simple. Like a liquified brownie.
