12 oz. bottle. Clean light aroma of citrusy? hop? So light itโ€™s hard to tell what it is. Pale brassy gold color with a white head that evaporated. Very thin in body, very moderate in carbonation, very light in pale malt sweetness. The bitter is simply undetectable, if there is any. A-B can really stretch an expensive ingredient, so it could be a hop flower per batch. Nice watery blah finish. If you canโ€™t drink the water, this could work as a substitute.

I have heard rumors and have seen commercials about a new mich light with a different shaped bottle. This is an older one with the regular shaped 12 oz brown bottle, twist off cap. This label has a born on date of 9/27/06 and it says that it should be drank within 110 days of brewing. The aroma is beery yeast but lighter than most lager brews. The color of this beer is most like any other ubiquitous pale yellow american lager, perhaps a little more lemon yellow. Nice streams of carbonation rising from within the brew. There is a thin white froth on top for a head and a girdle of foam around the inside edge of the glass. The taste is that of a smooth lager, no offensive bite what so ever. This is well behaved and designed not to offend anybody except the lovers of imp stouts and IPA. The label claims this is a rich brew in flavor but I do not seem to detect much richness in the brew. Overall I find this to be an enjoyable and repeatable brew, would make a nice session drink. I must mention that even tho this is a good lager, there are many other economy lagers out there that have the same drinkability rating without the additional cost.

Out of a metal bottle. Pour was golden with a big fizzy head. Flavor was chemical with some skunk in there. Pretty crappy even if it was free.

I had to rate this since Kiapepito did at beer school. Grainy, ricey nose; pale gold with a medium white head; Grainy flavor with no detectable hoppiness, just wateriness.

Bottle. Mild malt aroma. LIght yellow color. Light malt flavor. Maybe the contoured bottle helps - a better choice than most light beers.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pale golden with a creamy, white head. Slightly sweet nose. Very thin-bodied with sweetish, malty accents and some chickenfodderish imprints from the corn or rice used. No bitterness. The quintessence of a macro light beer. 190306

tap - Iโ€™m not going to waste much time on this one. Itโ€™s yet another very watery, mostly flavorless pale lager. I agree with the previous reviewer that itโ€™s a little better than Michelob Ultra. Obviously thatโ€™s not saying much.

Bottle. Eh, tastes like a "slightly" better than the Ultra version by this company. Was alright to drink, but deffinately not the best in any respects.

Michelob Light is not a terrible mainstream beer, but it sure doesn't punch like the good ol' beers. Appearance: nothing special. Yellow (notice I didn't say golden)with white head that goes away. Smell: not bad, not good. Taste: average among the mainstream beers Mouthfeel: ehh... not as good as the average This beer's drinkable, but I don't really want to drink it.
