We collaborated with the legends at Firestone Walker to bring you Pure Fire, an absolute masterclass in tropical saturation. We loaded this beer up with Citra Cryo and Thora, a new hop variety born from a collaboration between USDA agriculture experts and over 50 U.S craft brewers. Thora lends this IPA its tropical character, balanced by a subtle, resinous backbone. Radiating intense peach, kiwi, and passionfruit, Pure Fire flows with a soft, pillowy texture, finishing with a bright burst of pineapple and a crisp, refreshing splash of yellow watermelon.

Can, thx Ogi for sharing with Hrabren and me. Murky yellow body, off-white head, tiny quickly disappearing white head. Creamy lychee aroma, some grassy touches, sweetish, low oxidation. Smooth taste, minty lychee, sweetish, gummy, low citrus, light oatiness. Okay really.

On tap at the Pizza Store by OC Local on 20th April 2026. Asked for a pint, but the beer died half way through the pour and splattered the young lady at the tap. I got the half for free and she got a decent tip! So the last of the barrel. It poured an opaque golden orange, the head obviously pretty big because of the gas trying to pump out the remains of the liquid within the barrel. Anyway I thought this a fine hazy IPA with plenty going on in the taste, citrus flavours mostly, but some resinous piney notes too.
