Bottle @ Herøya. Dark brown body under a small dense beige head. Aroma has mild roasted dark malt, liquorice, wood and dry fruit. Taste has a fine balance between sweetness and alcohol, a bit vinous with dark malt, dry fruit, liquorice and wood. Fine body with ling lasting aftertaste. A fine, strong beer with balanse and complexity.

Black with low brown head - Dark malt and wood barrel aroma - Dark malt body with a strong wood barrel flavour with some spicy notes - Wood barrel flavours gos into a long spicy finish - This was good

Bottle. Delicious indeed... But... In a strange way there's too much barrel going on, and it's too vinous. And too sourish. Oak, tannins, heavy wine. Love the base though, dark sugar, dark dried fruit, chocolate and cocoa nibs, hints of mocha coffee and licorice. Not my favorite Nøgne Ø barrel aged brew, but still nice..747413

Fin sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden inkludert suppestasjon i Sandnes, hvor jeg lot meg friste av en planke høyvitaminisert energidrikke: brunsvart med fint lysebrunt skum. En sjokoladesymfoni iblandet nytraktet kaffe og assosiasjoner til Sachertorte. Balansekunst, og særdeles kvalifisert som brukerstøtte i tilværelsen.

Svart med brunt skum som ligger lenge. Lukter alkohol, peppermynte, mørke stenfrukter. Fyldig. Smooth. Smaker brunt sukker, fat, urter, lakris og kanel i bakgrunnen.
