Demanding beer for demanding beer drinkers -- that's our Pale Ale.

We craft this American pale ale with hearty amounts of pale and Munich malts, then balance it with lofty amounts of hops throughout. It's a finessed version of hop-head fun -- a black diamond beer without the bumps and dangerous curves.

Barley and oat aroma with a hint of lime. Cloudy amber with a medium head. Dry grassy malt flavor. Orange peel finish. Flavors don’t blend well for some reason. It’s like seltzer is added to a decent beer concentrate or something.

bottle - Pours cloudy yellow and really bubbly with a one finger head. It has a light hop and caramel malt aroma. The flavor is also pretty light and is led by the malts. There’s some mild hops and it’s a little thinner than I’d like. It’s okay, but there are far better pale ales out there. rerate tap at Breckenridge brewpub in Denver - much better on tap, some citrus, bitterness is on the upper end for american pales. 7/3/7/4/14. I’ll average that with my original rating.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a fizzy bright golden color with a small yellow-white head. The aroma was strong grapefruit and pine. The flavor was bitter, grapefruity and had hints of pine. The beer was rather dry. Floral hops come out a bit on the finish.

Spoiled aroma that clears to sweet vinegar smell in the glass. Slight off yellow haze with no head. Some smooth carbonation but below average in the fizz department. Industrial processed hop flavors, not quite as fresh tasting as as an IPA or stronger APA. Leather piney lemon/lime grapefruit rind finish.

Bottle. Flowery, perfumy hops are the dominant aroma and flavor, but only because there’s not much else. Light in aroma and light in flavor. Pours a hazy copper. The head is frothy and white. Some light yeastiness in the aroma along with a touch of citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and a light soapiness creeps through. Lightly bitter. Medium body and decent carbonation.

Hazy golden color. Poor aroma, grass and hay. Dry mouthfeel, quite strong bitterness, then there is some malt and caramel showing. Ordinary.

Pours with a clear gold under an average sized white head. Fruity malt and hop aroma and flavor. Some bitterness build towards the finish. Not bad, but this doesn’t venture out of the ordinary.

Bottle at the Balmoral Brewhaha. Pours a frothy head with a good brown color and a nice pale ale smell. Nice hoppiness that does not get in the way of its drinkability. It’s a great session beer with a stinger of American hops that can help initiate the curious.

A slightly hazy orange beer with an OK white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, but also a light fruityness, leading to a bitter end. Nice Pale Ale.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber golden with a rough, off-white head leaving some laces. Fat hop aroma. Medium body with sweetish caramel malt and accents of overripe fruit. Hoppy finish. A very clean and straight APA. 150506
