A pillowy soft NZ IPA created with the lovely folk at Floc as part of a project to create two singular but complementary beers designed to be coalesced in the same glass. Our version is saturated in Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade for notes of pink grapefruit, guava and weed. Enjoy on its own, or for the full 5D experience, blend with Floc’s Threads NZ edition showcasing Motueka and Nectaron.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, stone fruits, melon. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, super fresh, stone fruits, mineral, vinous, light piney weedy, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced.

440ml can. Murky golden with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, grape, slightly floral. Taste of orange and grapefruit, gooseberries, grape, berries, pine, light hop bitterness. Medium bodied.
Blended: sweet stone fruits and Nelson gooseberries, pithy zesty citrus - it's very nice and I'd give it the same rating as the individual beers.

Taste comprises gooseberries, orange pith, grapefruit, pine resin, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with punchy resinous hop bitterness with a good NZ hop bite.
Solid.
