Thanks Tracy for sending!
Bottom of the can reads 11 / 05 / 14, assuming that it’s best by date.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Lotsa speckled trickling lacing graces the sides of the glass.
The smell was quite sweet floral grassy build up of lustery bitter piney citrus hops. Big and bold and bitter! This is quite nice!
The taste was pure bittersweet bold citrus to pine awesomeness. A nice lingering bittersweet aftertaste embalms my tongue with a sharpness to lead into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for me and for the style as it had a good sharp yet sticky citrus lingering over my tongue.
Overall, wow, uh...where did this come from? My first one from this little unknown brewery to me in Ohio and now I’m quite interested in more of their beers. Of course, I would have this again.
