Aromatic, balanced, and incredibly easy-drinking. Centennial and Galaxy hops result in citrus and pine aromas, while a variety of specialty malts help give this Lo-Cal IPA its body and flavor.

Can for 2$ from chalet. Clear pale with a slight off white head. Maybe some citrus on the nose, rather clean neutral olfactory. Taste approaches IPA but I'd say its more in line with an APA. Yea, decent carbonation as well, much appreciated. After tasting the 'light hearted ale' 4 years ago, I'd say this is less 'real' IPA that the light hearted ale! Goes down fairly easy, odd for something called an IPA in my mind. Fer sher, to call this an IPA, session or not, may be a misnomer. Mind you, I'm actually glad its not a real IPA since the taste of IPA in my opinion, is quite not on cap trash, LoL. There, you have it

A: Rich clear brass with a tall lasting head but oddly not much lace.
A: Citrus whether sweet lemon or tart orange with wood and spruce hints.
T: Bitter hops show orange zest and pungent herbs, Mildly woody end.
M: Very light but with a hint of resin on an otherwise creamy feel.
O: Very nice ultralight. Rated before but re-rating due to name, calorie and ABV changes. Seems better but...

Pours a big frothy head over a slightly hazy gold beer. Light American hop nose. As expected, very light in malt, but with a nice bitter edge. So not too complex, but more hop than any other "lite" beer. From Jewel/Osco, Downers Grove, IL.
