Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/06/2026.
Murky orange topped with a good sized just off white head.
Nose is punchy tropicana, grass, stone fruit, melon.
Taste comprises bitter tropicana, white grape, pine resin, dank kiss.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with resinous hop bitterness with a leasing Nelson twist.
Solid pale.

500ml can from the brewery. Murky golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma of grape, orange, gooseberry. Taste of grape, grapefruit, white wine, some gooseberry tartness and a touch of pine, light bitter citric hop finish. Medium bodied.
Excellent pale.

Can. A medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, light bodied but still delivering a creamy sweetness that suits this brew. So another way of hopping - bliss - this method a cultivation technique apparently. Nelson Sauvin Bliss delivers bright and slightly winey grape, touch of gooseberry. A little bit of tarter grape on the back end. Cooling pine throughout and a touch of hop spice. Impressive. This is Nelson almost as good as it once was. Certainly the bright fruitiness is for me, classic NS. Just missing a bit of that almost white port resinous chewiness but, this is a nit pick. Excellent NS Pale Ale.
