To bring extra complexity to our Double Black IPA Slack Phillip, we have teamed up with Tierra Coffee to make a coffee edition. Black Phillip features the same hop additions of Amarllo, Citra (T90 & Cryo) & Simcoe, alongside freshly roasted Tadeke Teko Coffee Beans from Yirgacheffe in Ethiopa. The Tadeke Teko bring extra layers of orange, floral and "juicy" citrus flavors!

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Black, small brown head. Generous aroma of coffee and grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Quality, hard roasted coffee, piney citrus and licorice. Resinous bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, some roasted malts with mild fruity and a bit dried fruity tones too. Flavour is coffee, ripe fruits, some mild tiramisulike elements to it.

Black with a firm, tan head. Plenty of coffee, burnt malts, dark chocolate, and earth which is balanced with citrus and light pine hop notes. Medium bodied. Finish is dry with lingering burnt malt and roasted coffee. Medium bitterness, too. This is quite nice.

Can @ Kvickly Middelfart. Pours Black with a small beige head. Good roast, citrus and pine. Good coffee and Chocolate. Like in the old days. I stil find this combination delicious. Smooth and soft. Dry and bitter hoppy and roasted finish.

Can from Tidens Farver @ Home. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, rich coffee, coffee grounds, slight sourness, citrusly hops. Flavor is bitter, lightly sour, roasted malt, rich coffee, coffee grounds, citrusly hops. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish. 120526
