Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII on 09/25/2015. Dark brown pour with a medium light beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coconut. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, coconut and coffee. The finish is roasty with a coconut and chocolate aftertaste. Good beer all around.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC pours a watery, deep black with some creamy, off white head. Nose has loads of coconut, black licorice, molasses, green coffee berry. Flavor has malty notes, tons of molasses, coconut, chocolate, coffee, black licorice. Finishes a bit cloying. Slightly under executed, especially along side some of their other items.

Truly a superior porter. Lots of roast, lots of well-integrated mocha. Some cream and coconut, dark chocolate. Pours thick without being syrupy. Finishes bitter with some chocolate sweetness. Awesome beer. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Beer Week. Poured a near-pitch black color with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is like, Last Snow, it smells like a Mounds candy bar - fresh shaved coconut in there - with a nice chocolate notes. Flavor was roasted malt notes, nice coffee notes. This one is awesome.

Draft at Churchkey. Dark maroon brown color. Huge aroma of peppermint candy dipped in vanilla dipped in Irish coffee with a shot of espresso. Taste is huge rich bitter spiced coffee and more vanilla. My favorite of the night.
