Crusher Single Hop: Citra

This poundable session IPA is brewed with 2-row barley and a touch of caramel malt for depth, accented with loads and loads of late-addition Citra hops. The hops provide an IPA-sized dose of intensely fruity hop aroma without an overly bitter finish.

Hazy, light tan, thin head. Light floral note, taste has some mellow citrus, light fruitiness. It’s thin, but mellow and vaguely biscuity. The thing is, though, I’ve had more of this than any other beer at Funky Buddha so far. Doesn’t score well, it just drinks well.

Growler thanks to Amy. Pours a clear gold with medium frothy white head. The aroma is strong citra and grapefruit. Medium mouth with nice citrus, grapefruit, bitter, light dryness, very crushable.

A very nice session IPA. Light pine and grapefruit. Pours cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Great backyard beer I could drink all day. Some bitter finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Thanks to solidfunk. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some light citrus notes, touch of pine, armpit? Flavor was light pine, armpit sweat, not my favorite, but easy to drink.
