This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

Pours with a small, white head covering a hazy yellow body. Decent lacing. Aroma of butter, fruit grass and pepper. Tastee is a bit bitter and very grassy. Fizzy mouthfeel.

On tap at Flying Saucer - Houston on 07/27/08. Very clear pale yellow body with a medium creamy white head. Corn, grain, and honey aroma with light floral hops. More corn and very light grain with a bit of faint honey and dry hops. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

Extremely clear medium yellow with a fair sized head of white. Strangely spicy, acidic aroma, maybe band aids? Slightly sweet with an astringent finish. Thirst quenching but the astringency detracts too much.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a small white head that diminishes to nothing. Not much on the nose but citrus. The taste is very bland, not much going on with this one.

Hazy blond color; huge head, too much… The aroma is a bit spicy, with lemon peel too. The body is so thin (overfermentation), the flavor is not interesting, there is even a bit of ammonia. Not so good.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Golden with tiny impurities and a dense shaving foam style head. Somewhat flowery aroma with a whiff of yeast. Medium body with dry, floral accents and only a discreet bitterness. Somewhat astrigent finish. 171107

12 oz. bottle from zinister. Pour is a slightly cloudy yellow gold with a medium to small white head. Aroma is almost absent, though eventually a bit of grassy hop comes through. Taste is a slight bit of fruit at the beginning with wheat and malt through the middle. Overall, somewhat bland, though this would have been better paired with food. Thanks again Michael!
