Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is of some pils malt and not much else. Flavor is some dry malts with a fruitness toward the end. Finish is dry and clean. An ok pils that is for a good cause.

Yellow with a nice white head. Aroma was crisp and of malts, hops, light grass, some biscuit, and light floral. Flavor was more of the same with the grassy notes coming a bit more. A real nice rounded crisp body (does that even make sense?). Quality.

22oz bottle. Hazy golden-tan aroma. Big, frothy, off-white head laces the glass. Dry, with a sweet golden malt background. Even though it’s approaching Heller Bock territory with the matl sweetness, Id still say this is a nice example of an Imperial Pils. Fresh, bold, with some complexity. Peppery hops. Sweet, creamy, doughy malt notes. Well done.

Bottle. Pours with a clear golden body and a white head. Aroma of hay, grain, bread and notable spicy/nearly citrus hops. A little bit of alcohol. Taste is dry, grain and bread with lingering bitterness. Not too much hop flavor just a decent amount of bitterness. Pretty bland but not offensive. Maybe the lightest hint of diacetyl. Somewhat rounded or slick mouthfeel, medium bubbles. Not bad, just bland.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a medium frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is wheat, bubblegum and citrus. Thick mouthfeel with a bitter malt with banana and a bitter finish. A decent pils from Abita.

Bomber from the Co-Op in Davis, CA. Hazy gold pour with a foamy, clingy 3 finger white head. Aromas of light malt, citrus and grass. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is wheaty with some bread and grass. Maybe a touch of citrus. Finishes nicely bitter in a grassy way. It drinks very, very easily.
