440ml can from Craft & Berry. Gluten Free. Golden straw colour, white foam head and aroma of grains, straw, hay, grass. Taste is sweet, malty, grainy, with hay, straw, meadow, and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy grassy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can picked up at the brewery. Mostly clear slightly green tinged gold. Bubbly white foam doesn’t last. Nose has bready malts. Some sweet cereal. Earthy peppery grassy hop with a tad of fruity weirdness. Taste is fairly sweet with a very light bitterness. Touch of sour on the finish, which is probably the only authentic bit about this Helles, to be honest. It’s drinkable but it’s not to style.
