Draft at the source 12/28/13. Murky, chalky yellow color. Aroma of lemon and raw eggs. Taste is similar. Odd.

~ 16 ounce draft at the Triple 7 Brewpub at the Main Street Station, Las Vegas, Nevada. The pour is a very hazy yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft wheat grain, perhaps a faint clove yeast. The taste is wheat, grain, light hay, and subtle clove and banana yeast. The palate is unfiltered, light bodied, clean finish. Easy drinking, but a bit plain. The yeast character was really dialed down on this.

On tap as Double Down Hefeweizen. A hazed pale blonde weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, banana and cloves with light chalky notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet and creamy weizen with light bananas and berries, nice. On tap at brewpub, August 9 2012.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, small head. Orangey juicy aroma. Sweet and fruity. No banana character, instead juicy ctric fruitiness dominates. Feeling somewhat tatr. Somehow most of the flavour can be derived down to the lemon wedge it was served with.

Sample at the brewpub (as Hefe-Wei-Zen). This beer is a cloudy yellow lemonade color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, banana and cloves. Light, clean body with wheat and spice flavors and banana along for the ride the whole time. The finish is wheaty with a lingering malt and spice aftertaste. Tastes better than it looks, but that is not saying a whole lot.
