Sparkling Pet Nat Medium Dry Fine Perr
Fausset is an extraordinary variety of perry pear, originating in France, but grown by Stephen Ware at Throne Farm in Herefordshire. It’s intensely aromatic, concentrated in flavour and super tannic, everything needed to make a perfectly intriguing pét nat style Perry.
Tropical fruit, white grapes and blossom perfume on the nose, all of which is replicated in the mouth, where it is joined by pithy, lemony tannins, lime leaf, nectarine and truly succulent acidity, keeping it juicy and incredibly moreish!

Elite stuff. Modest sweetness, cut by quite lively carbonation. Relaxed acidity, some apple skins, semi-sweet underripe pear, bit of musty cellar. Great balance. Massively drinkable, refreshing.

750ml bottle for #rgpm. Opened with a pop. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates and aroma of perry pear, orchardy, funk, flowery, citric notes. Taste is tangy, tart, perry peary, fleshy, funky hint, lime leaf, zesty citric, with some acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry peary tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
