Yola is a contradiction. Sweet yet strong. Excitingly intimidating yet approachable. Unrefined, but instantly adaptable to the most sophisticated palates. Please appreciate this artisan ale dedicated to our motorcycle riding caregiver as much as we appreciate her work and her company. Unfiltered & bottle conditioned. Enjoy with or without sediment at 45 degrees.

Bottle thanks to Randomgarbage on RBWG bus. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head. The aroma is yeast and tart fruit. Thin mouth with hairspray and paint thinner. Wtf

Bottle at RBWG 2014. Hazy amber color. Aroma of metallic burnt caramel. Taste is softly sour caramel. Weird.

Bottle - I get the tomato and a little spice. I have never seen a beer look so bad, brown cloudy with yellow bits? Tomato and some sour weird notes, soapy but drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a thick tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a sour red fruit note with a bit of plastic and musty/earthy grains. Flavor has lots of red fruits up front that seem a bit off and are quite sour.

Bottle #46 pours with a dark murky amber body supporting a tall billowing tan head foam ball. The aroma is earthy, tart and rubbery band-aid. The taste has some tartness as well as a soured to spoiled mango that’s lightly covered with molasses. Hmm. Not sure what to make of this. It isn’t working for me at all.

Parkville Fest 2013. A mish mash of alcohol, sour, dark malts. Light acetic and sulfur aspects. Not offensive just very poorly made. Not much else to say.

Bottle shared on the RBWG 2013 bus - is this thanks to the randomgarbage? Pours murky, golden-brown with a creamy cap. Belgian yeast in the nose, some sweat and tart fruits. It tastes really bad, lots of nail polish in here, some leafy bitterness, tons of plastic. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dryish finish with rich plastic, leaves, yeast, bread and paint thinner. Terrible.
