BA Bottle. Aroma rather subtle, less intense. Mostly spicy yeasty, slightly fruity. Clear reddish brown colour. In taste it is pretty simple and straightforward, but clean and balanced dubbel interpretation. All about the subtle spices, yeasty stuff and so on. Lots of background caramel.

750 ml bottle from Saveur Bière.
Dark copper body, with a big, frothy, light beige head.
Aroma of dark and dried fruits, oak, some alcohol.
Taste follows this, with some more sweet malts.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes sweet, a bit alcohol warming, fruity, malty, a bit wooden.

Nice, but I was expecting more. Quite simple, not very complex and the barrel aging isn’t very obvious. Overall still a good beer, but not on par with other great Mikkeller beers.
