Botella 75 cl tomada en el momento en Llamas 27..01..2016. --Tarde Chelo--. (r38). Fcpref 16..04..2020 (en chapa). De cervezalandia. Color oscuro Cerezo turbio con espuma beige oscura. Aromas y sabores que recuerdan a las dobles belgas pero con un toque bastante interesante de maderas y vinos añejos. Frutos pasos y cereales al inicio acabando con suave amargo ligeramente persistente. Gran reinterpretacion de las dobles belgas con un gran toque suave y refinado. Cuerpo medio a intenso de 8 3 vol. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - dark reddish brown pour with big beige head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, with caramel, toffee and treacle sweetness, yeasty, dark dried fruit, some wooden nuance on the palate, sweet malty boozy finish. Nice.

(Thx!) 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Dark amber, little tanned head. Nose is odd, basic sugar, oily DE fish guts, caramel,… Taste is akin to a Doppelbock as opposed to anything Belgian, not nothing much barrel, lots of sugar, dull candy, oily fish guts, caramel, oxidation (the barrel I suppose?), light berries, slick one-note,… Oily slick Doppelbock body. I would classify this one far more as a boring Doppelbock as opposed to a Dubbel (whatever that means).

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Mikkeller The Beer Traveller BA Oloroso ].Clear medium brown amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, wood, tobacco, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet fruit - yeast, belgium yeast, caramel, tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150829]

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours hazy amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of light malt, oak, light vinous notes, caramel, overripe dark fruits and toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.
