Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque black color, small head that diminishes almost instantly. Aroma is malts, dark malts, soft roast. Taste malts, roasted malts and a tad sweet in the distance, nice soft bitterness. Medium body and soft to average carbonation. Nice.

33cl bottle at the Gekke Geit. No head or carbonation. Clear black pour. Pretty good.

tijdens het openen van het flesje valt het mij op dat ik helemaal niets hoor, dat voorspelt weinig goeds.. en inderdaad tijdens het inschenken valt het al op dat een geen kraag op komt, en dat er totaal niets, nada, noppes aan koolzuur in zit. zwart en troosteloos kraagloos. aroma van laurier, maar er zit ook iets raars aan, chocolade, gerookte mout, fruitig, zoet, vanille. weird. Smaken zijn glad, alcohol, ook in het mondgevoel totaal helemaal niets aan co2. geroosterde en gebrande mouten, veel chocolade, donker fruit, pruim , wat zure bessen, soya saus, redelijk tot stevig zoet, redelijke body. jammer verpruts door het koolzuur...

Tap at NBFD. Very dark brown with creamy beige head. Lots of dark chocolate, sweet malts, light blackberries, marzipan, soft herbs, some grapes. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.

Draft at Foeders, Amsterdam. Very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, light roast and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
