Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy dark amber color with a medium sized creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was strong tangy and sweet catbox, pine and cactus. The flavor was sweet and tangy cactus, pine and a bit of catbox with caramel underneath. Long cactus and pine finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Appearance: Cloudy golden with a big white head
Aroma: Pine resin and floral
Taste: Grapefruit, dirty water, dusty caramel and herbal
Aroma was great. The flavor was real bad, this was the last session at gabf, maybe this was the end of the keg.

A golden amber IPA with a thin creamy white head. In aroma, a nice classy c-hops with citrus pulp, biscuit malt, nice. In mouth, a classic west coast IPA with biscuit malt with good floral C-hops, grapefruit notes, decent. On tap at 4 Queens location, August 8, 2012.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy amber, small head. Concentrated grapefruit aroma. Quite dry with above medium body. Intense flavour of sweaty grapefrut. Long resiny bitterness. A solid IPA.

On tap at 4 queens. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy off white head that leaves decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop wit grapefruit and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a nice hoppy bite in the flavor and nice bitter finish. Easy to drink hiding alcohol well. A very good IPA from Chicago Brewing.

Sampler @ 4 Queens, Vegas. pours amber/copper, white head. Aroma, good hops, but comes out with an aroma that had too much bad medical like smell. Taste, hops are just strong here, with a great pine forest character. Finish gives a lingering bitter mouthfeel that come sout being too spicy on the palate.

Draft - into growler at the brewpub at the 4 Queens Casino. Pour is orange yellow with a normal off white head. Aroma of orange peel, citrus and hops. Taste is a whole bunch of bitter orange peel hops, with a decent enough malt backbone. This beer was a 64oz. growler for $10 - that included the growler, refill was $7. Can’t complain.
