Draft at Meridian Pint for DC Brau’s 3rd Anniversary, Poured a clear dark brown color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was light toasted malt, some light coffee and a touch of dried fruits and some light earthy hop. Flavor was some light hops, very light coffee and some very mild chocolate notes.

Draft. Dark clear amber maroon color, brown head. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste is very roasty coffee, sweet winter fruit. Very tasty.

Growler shared with NMann08. Pours a translucent, deep brown with some fluffy white head. Nose like a stout, some dried malt, some bread crust, light coffee, some raisin sweetness. Flavor is absolutely spot on, some light chocolate, some very mild coffee, a little bread crust, some dried fruit. Mostly dry finish. Completely drinkable. Dark mild might be a stretch, because to me this is a session stout. Great idea, great execution, excellent beer.
