Pohoda 12° is our latest foray into the multifaceted world of dark Czech-style dark lagers—a tradition and style that continues to inspire and teach us.
Using a blend of @Weyermann’s Barke Munich and Vienna malts, Pohoda showcases delicate notes of toasted bread, nougat, cocoa, and dark fruits. While complex and malt-forward, it remains exceptionally drinkable.
Though difficult to translate, the Czech term “Pohoda” connotes contentment, comfort, harmony, or simply pleasant weather. We hope you drink Pohoda in the good company of friends and family, and experience the very same. That’s what the lager tradition is all about!

Brewery draught, 6/5/26.
Rich base malt with a healthy but tempered amount of chocolate, earth, mineral and herbaceous hop. Very clean, bright, playful nose.
Rich and malty but never too sweet or soft with excellent attenuation and dark malt used to gently balance. Leafy green and rich herb with balanced bitterness from hop, and a ton of earth and mineral in the finish.

Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown pour and definitely darker in the glass almost black with a finger and a half's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace then left some mild messy lace
Aroma: dark bread/pumpernickel tones with some molasses, cocoa butter and cocoa powder scents and some sweet earthy notes, ever so slight ash but comes across in a sweet sort of way
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet cocoa-like and earthy conglomeration; finishes with a pinch of dryness and a little bit of cocoa powder & dark bread
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium; pretty sessiomable; good smoothness and a very little bit of stickiness; great carb level
Overall: a very nicely done Czech dark lager very worthy of coming back to.
