Juicy, exciting fruit flavours before an intense bitterness as sharp as a Macaw’s screech.

Bouteille(@Sainsbury’s, British Empire):Clear, light amber coloured with a stable mid-sized off-white head, citric to exotic-fruity hoppy nose with a pretty faint touch of cough-syrup; moderate to solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; distinctive fruity and malty traces in the mainly dry bitter-hoppy finish. A very nice brew…

(bottle, 4.8% abv) Clear, amber colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, but also a woody and slightly sweaty touch, accompanied by shades of bready cara-malt. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty with a present hops profile, including notes of citrus and grapefruit; quite dry and moderately bitter, also lasting fruity hoppy finish. Easy-going Ale. 25.IX.13
